Verified Purchase. As a real fighting game experience, Deadliest Warrior is a mess. It's shallow, favoring spectacle over substance, and the spectacle isn't even that great. Battles are won and lost seemingly at random. If someone you respect happens to walk into the room while you're playing Deadliest Warrior, you will experience a deep and lasting shame. However -- and I cannot overstate this point -- this is a game in which William Wallace can knock Genghis Khan into the "this is Sparta" pit with a flying dropkick.
The game is stupid, but it's stupid fun. The only problem it's difficult to overlook is the loading times, which are inexcusably long for a game whose matches are over this quickly. There's even a loading screen before the credits scroll. Deadliest Warrior isn't a Tekken, Mortal Kombat or any other fighting franchise you've played, and that's okay.
It's a cheap game, you're not or shouldn't be expecting something groundbreaking.
